Landscape Architect, Firm Owner, and Lead Designer Solange studied at the University of Buenos Aires completing a program inclusive of architecture, agricultural science and landscape architecture, with a final thesis in “Healing Gardens”. Solange will provide landscape architecture services as the primary local landscape architect. Solange’s design background focuses on integrating process-design with the ecological concepts and educational opportunities for master planning and landscape design. She has worked in both private, public and non-profit organization design environments on community, educational, and agricultural projects. Solange is the principal of Serquis + Associates as well as a very active participant in the community. With Spanish as her first language and English her second, Solange works passionately assisting numerous social-kids-educational-friendly events where she merges her knowledge and activism for educational landscapes and the relationship between indoor-outdoor spaces with her desire to help the young.

Solange is an extremely talented and thoughtful Landscape Architect, often being challenged by the difficult New Mexico terrain. Our home was a new build and our backyard was a blank slate of dirt and weeds. Solange made it her top priority to understand our taste and how we hoped to utilize the space. She then created a design that exceeded anything I could imagine. We had Solange and her team oversee the installation as well. She was frequently onsite making sure every detail was right. I could not be happier with the work Serquis + Associates did.
Solange did an amazing job on the landscape design for our house! It perfectly reflects the home design, it’s beautiful and easy to maintain. Our site has several level changes and Solange made amazing spaces that flow beautifully from one area to another. Every vantage point is a unique and gorgeous space. Solange is a gifted landscape architect. She is an excellent communicator and listener. She was very thorough in learning about my needs and took special care to be on site multiple times before she presented a design. She created a unique and outstanding solution to both the entrance to the house and the back patio— both difficult areas– and connected them through the use of creative and stunning hardscape. In addition, it was a pleasure to work with her. She is upbeat, fun, enthusiastic, smart, creative, patient and hard working. No matter what the problem she was there for me and readily solved whatever issue was at hand. I could not recommend her more highly. I think she is a gift to landscaping here in Santa Fe!
Solange and her Team brought incredible creativity and vision to our whole house re-landscaping project. Able to look beyond what had been put in place previously, they recycled plants and materials while creating a cohesive signature design. They were equally attentive during installation and worked well in the field solving problems, adjusting design elements, and evolving concepts. I had one disappointment at the end of the project: my time with this wonderful group of people was at an end.
