Retreat Home

The home is an escape. With the proximity to the golf course and clubhouse, it is the perfect location to retreat and enjoy the leisurely parts of life. Thus, the celebration of the tranquil was a driving factor in the landscape design. Our palette was ... one approach to achieve this serenity. We refined the walkways and portals, using a light tile that contrasts with the dark color of the oil-rubbed steel that defines the edges in the landscape. Smooth white pebbles are found within steel planters throughout the site. These pebbles become a powerful, yet quiet, statement when paired with the gravel mulch that is used as ground cover for the entirety of the site. Through materiality and a sensitive definition of spaces, we have provided our clients with a design that will be timeless, offering them serene outdoor living to enjoy over the years.
